The NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Computing (L5DC) is a qualification regulated by Ofqual and represents the second year of the NCC Education degree pathway. L5DC
Students enrolled in the NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Computing will undertake a comprehensive program across one academic year, designed to earn 120 credits. To successfully complete the qualification, students must pass all four specialist units and select two elective units based on their interests and career goals. The specialist units provide a strong foundation in advanced computing principles and practical application. In addition, students choose two electives from a diverse range. This flexible structure ensures learners gain both depth and breadth in key areas of computing, preparing them for further study or a dynamic career in the IT sector.
Students are required to successfully complete all four specialist units alongside two elective units to fulfil the program requirements

To enrol in the NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Computing (L5DC), applicants must meet at least one of the following entry requirements:
- Completion of the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC),
OR - Possession of a local or international qualification considered equivalent to the L4DC. This must be approved by NCC Education prior to admission.
In addition, applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency by achieving an IELTS score of 5.5 or ESOL B2 or above, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
Assessment is conducted through a combination of written examinations and coursework-based assignments.
Level 5 Diploma in Computing L5DC, is a diploma program delivered by Britain International Academy, Salmiya, Kuwait and awarded by NCC Education UK.
Upon Successful completion of Level 5 Diploma in Computing at Britain International Academy, NCC Education UK will award them Level 5 Diploma Certificates.
Students who successfully complete the NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Computing (L5DC) are eligible to progress to final-year top-up degree programs offered through NCC Education. These include:
- BSc (Hons) Business Computing and Information Systems – Delivered online by NCC Education and validated and awarded by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).
- BSc (Hons) Computing – Delivered at selected NCC Education Accredited Partner Centres and awarded by the University of Greenwich.
Alternatively, graduates may apply for direct entry into the third year of a relevant undergraduate degree at a university that recognises NCC Education qualifications.
